The following is a list of photographic programs that I have produced and will present to groups. I will also produce specialized programs based upon the needs and desires of your specific group. Please contact me either by email or phone to discuss your specific needs.

TEACHING PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
"TIPS FOR BETTER PICTURES"
A very basic program mostly for the beginner. The program covers the basics of good picture taking no matter what kind of camera that you are using. Program is about 30 to 45 min in length plus a question and answer session.
'MINI PHOTO SEMINAR"
Covers a general survey of all the basics of photography from selecting the right camera, tips for taking better pictures, equipment (tripods, film, lenses, and filters) , and tips on travel photography. Two 30 - 40 min. sessions with break, and questions and answers. About 2 hours total.
"PHOTOGRAPHING PEOPLE"
This program can be used for anyone from the beginner to the advanced amateur. It would be of more interest to individuals using a SLR camera. The program covers tips for taking pictures of people, and the examples are from photographs that I have taken over the past 20 years. It discusses lighting, filters, lenses, and the basic idea is to stimulate people to be people watchers and to see and photograph people. The program is about 45 min in length with a question and answer portion at the end.
"FABULOUS FLOWERS"
This program can be used for anyone from the beginner to the advanced amateur. It would be of more interest to the SLR user. The program covers: lighting, close-up photography using different lenses and attachments, use of selective focus, double exposure, filters, and special effects. There is a demonstration at the beginning and at the end the audience has the opportunity to look at and discuss the equipment involved. The full program is about 60 min in length including the demonstrations at the beginning and end. A similar program has been shown at the Philadelphia Flower Show, and at many garden clubs.
"MY BACKYARD STUDIO"
This program is mainly for the SLR user. It covers taking simple commercial photographs, unusual methods of photographing flowers and nature, photographing birds, and, photographing in different types of lighting conditions. All of the photographs were taken around my home, never leaving my property (100 feet by 150 feet). The basic idea is to show that you don't have to travel to get interesting photographs. The program is about 30 to 45 min. in length with a question and answer session at the end.
"WHAT'S THIS DIGITAL STUFF?"
Basic program that discusses what you can do with digital imaging, the equipment needed, and the programs that you can use with it. The program is designed to be molded to the audience, and can last anywhere from 30 min. to over an hour depending upon the interests and knowledge of the audience.
'THE HISTORY OF LIGHT IMAGING"
Covers the history of photography starting with the Camera Obscura, and ending with digital photography. I usually bring a number of interesting cameras, and discuss camera collecting. Designed for general audiences of all ages, and Camera Clubs. (30 to 45 min plus questions and answers.)
'GEORGE EASTMAN THE MAN"
Program about the life of George Eastman. The program includes a look at his restored mansion on East Avenue in Rochester NY. Designed for general audiences. (30 to 45 min.)

"LET'S WALK THE BEACH"
A program to explore the beach with your camera, looking for the different types of things that you might find. Some emphasis is put on simple bird photography. For general audiences and camera clubs.(about 45 minutes with questions and answers)

"TIPS FOR TRAVELING"
A program to review tips and information for the travel er.(30 to 45 minutes with questions and answers).
"FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY "
Short program on the basics of flash photography. (20 to 30 minutes) Can be combined with other photographic teaching programs. Designed for camera clubs or photo enthusiasts.
"BASIC PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPOSITION"
A short program on the basics of photo composition. (20 to 30 minutes) Can be combined with other photographic teaching programs. Designed for camera clubs or photo enthusiasts.
"BASIC PHOTO PROGRAM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE"
Usually two sessions, one to discuss briefly how to take better pictures, and then actually putting these new ideas to use. The second session to review the pictures taken in the first session (usually a week later). Individuals need to provide their own camera, film and processing. Basics to be discussed when the event is set up.

"SO YOU WANT TO TAKE A SAFARI"
The program shows what you have to do if you are interested in taking a safari. It is based on a safari that I took, and includes the places we stayed, and the animals that we saw. It is designed for Camera Clubs or General Audiences.
"SMALL BOAT CRUISING - ALASKA"
Short travelogue covering a small boat cruise to Alaska.
"SMALL BOAT CRUISING - MEXICAN BAHA"
A short travelogue covering a small boat cruise to the Mexican Baha.
"THAILAND, CAMBODIA AND VIETNAM"
A travelogue of that area of the world. Designed for general audiences.
"COSTA RICA"
A brief look at the Rain Forest and the birds and animals of Costa Rica.
"WELCOME TO SICILY"
A view of Sicily. Showing various areas and a bit about the culture.
"A TOUCH OF INDIA"
A brief view of India including a Hindu Wedding.
"FALL COLOR IN NEW YORK STATE"
A look at Beautiful New York State in the Fall.
"A GLIMPSE OF CHINA"
A trip to China including Beijine, Shanghai, Yangtze River and Hong Kong.
